SERVICES OFFERED:
I routinely provide planning services to both private and public sector clients. No
project is too small or too large. I strive to clearly understand my client's needs and to
tailor services to fit those needs efficiently. Services range from small project site
planning to major regional general and specific plans. I provide policy planning,
environmental impact analysis, CEQA processing, and all related supporting services.
I write factual, practical, solution-oriented Environmental Impact Reports based on the
social conscience of the community that I am serving. My in-house capabilities include
document publishing, graphics, constraints and topographic mapping, and computer
modeling and analysis. I am an experienced data base programmer. I have hours of
public hearing and presentation experience. Where necessary, I team with other
qualified consultants to provide unlimited depth and capability.
EXPERIENCE:
I began my working career in 1969 with a multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm in
Grass Valley, providing me with a wide exposure to both technical and planning issues.
I concurrently earned a degree in Land Surveying from Sierra College. As the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) regulations were enacted, I began an
involvement in both policy and project planning. My work included design, agency
processing, and client representation of a wide variety of large and small projects.
When I left the firm, I was Planning and Surveying Director overseeing a staff of 8-12
people.
I began my own practice in 1981, determined to provide planning services that included
individual attention and direct involvement with my clients, while continuing to
provide the depth and capability often only available with large firms. I've provided
public sector planning to the City of Nevada City, acting as City Planner between 1984
and 1997. I've provided similar services to the County of Nevada, processing parcel
maps. I've been involved in hundreds of projects in Northern California. I've written
EIR's for Sierra College's Grass Valley campus, Grass Valley's Sewer System Master
Plan, and private projects.
